DAY 01: Laguna Qoyllor y Laguna Inkachiriasqa – Campamento Base Salkantaypampa (16km aprox 7hrs)

The journey begins with an early pickup from your hotel, followed by a delicious breakfast in Limatambo. We will then begin the hike towards the Qoyllor community, continuing until we reach the stunning lagoon. After crossing it, we’ll arrive at Qoyllor Pass, where we will meet our muleteers and horses, who will take care of transporting the camping equipment while we proceed towards Inkachiriasqa lagoon.

After exploring Inkachiriasqa lagoon, we will head towards our base camp, Salkantaypampa, at the foot of the Salkantay Glacier, where our chef will be waiting with a delightful lunch. From this point, we can enjoy panoramic views of the majestic Salkantay Glacier. In the afternoon, we will relax with a cup of tea, and in the evening, indulge in an exquisite dinner.

DAY 02

Campamento base Salkantay Pampa - Chaullay (18km aprox 7hrs)

Walk with the spirit of the Andes
Wake up to a cup of coca tea and enjoy breakfast with fantastic mountain views. Then, we embark on a 3-hour hike or horse ride to reach the highest point of the Salkantay Pass at 4600 m (15,091 ft). From there, we trek downhill towards Wayrac Machaq for lunch. We will continue through the high jungle, where you’ll see large trees with their branches extending over streams, all adorned with bromeliads and orchids on our way to our second campsite.
