The Inca Jungle Premium Trek is an unbelievable 4 day alternative tour where you can evolve your experience in adventure sports such as rafting, trekking, biking and zip lining. It also includes some recently discovered Inca paths with archaeological remains, the expansive and towering Abra Malaga Mountain, the deep green valley and the vibrant jungle basin of Santa Maria. The Inca Jungle Premium Trek uses A-1 equipment and the groups are small creating an intimate experience with the natural terrain of Peru.

Day 1: Cusco – Pispitayoc (Biking and Rafting)
We will leave the Sacred Valley of the Incas travelling through picturesque villages and beautiful landscapes until reaching the Abra Malaga Mountain(4350mt). We will depart, descending on top scale mountain bikes for 3 hours going though rural villages, rivers, orchards and streams reaching the Huamanmarca Region. Our private bus will take the group to Santa Maria, where we will launch the rafting portion of our trek. Note: Those that did not book the rafting tour will go with an assistant guide in our private bus to Santa Rosa, arriving at the La Choza Eco Lodge, located in the Pispitayoc village. Later, the rafting group will be taken to Santa Rosa and hike to the lodge. We will then have dinner and rest for the night.
Day 2: Pispitayoc Eco Lodge – Santa Teresa (Trekking)
We walk along the riverbanks and start ascending un into the high forest observing small coffee and cacao plantations and fruit trees amongst the abundance of flora and fauna. In this area it is possible to see many types of plants, orchids, birds and other wildlife. We witness the mysterious beauty of the high forest, a paradise of biodiversity in the Inca jungle. After arriving to the top of the mountain we will see the whole expansiveness of the Urubamba Valley.
After basking in the force of these panoramic views, we descend, arriving at the village Qellomayo. We have a short break then return trekking for 3 hours going through farms, rivers and waterfalls until arriving at the Santa Teresa Hot Springs. After a short break the group will continue walking until reaching the town of Santa Teresa, where we will sleep at a cozy lodge.
Day 3: Santa Teresa - Lucmabamba - Llactapata - Hidroeléctrica - Aguas Calientes
Our third day of our Inca Jungle tour, we take a delicious breakfast after this we take the van for about 40 minutes to Lucmabamba to hike another section of Inca Trail (Qhapaq Ñan). This Inca trail was only discovered in 2003 and has a variety of flora and fauna. Its nearly untouched surroundings conceal the archaeological remains of Llactapata, from where we will have an impressive and rarely seen view of Machu Picchu Citadel. After lunch, we will begin our descent to the train station at the hydroelectric plant, where we will take a 30 minute train ride to the town of Aguas Calientes. The group will be taken to the hostel around 4pm, and at night we all get together in a restaurant to have a great dinner and have a briefing about the trek to Machu Picchu. You will have the rest of the evening to relax.
Day 4: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco (Trekking)
We start hiking early with the ambition to marvel at the sunrise from the heights of Machu Picchu. We will have a 2 hour comprehensive tour and afterwards you will have free time to explore the sacred soil in solitary. The passengers that reserved the hiking tour to Huayna Picchu will have a 2.5 hour steep ascension ending in a rewarding view. In the afternoon the group will descend to Aguas Calientes, boarding a train to Ollantaytambo, and ride back to Cusco arriving in the late afternoon.
