See the highlights of Cusco on this 4 day, 3 night tour. Explore incredible archaeological sites such as Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. Tour Machu Picchu independently and with your English-Speaking professial guide. Round-trip transfers to and from the airport as well as daily breakfasts are included.

Briefing between 5pm - 7pm the evening before the trip in our office, explaining all tour details from our guide.


Day 1: Cusco Arrival & City tour Cusco

After getting picked up from the Cusco airport or your hotel, you will be transferred to our lounge where you will rest in the morning before taking a 4 hour tour of the city at 1:30pm. You will be guided through the Convent of Santo Domingo and then move on to the archeological sites located just outside the city of Cusco such as Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. We will transfer you back to your hotel in the evening.

Day 2: Sacred Valley of Incas

We will start our excursion through the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Chinchero, where we will join a traditional weaving workshop. We will be part of the most remarkable textile handmaking display and see how the locals are working fashion. Then, we continue with a guided tour to the non-traditional Maras Moray circuit, a unique archaeological group that is one of a kind. The gigantic circular depressions in the ground surface were believed to be an agriculture investigation centre of the Inca’s but also a vibration complex. Then we drive to the salt mines located 7 km from Moray, pass through a typical Spanish village called Maras. In the afternoon we will visit the village of Ollantaytambo and the Inca Archaeological site which was inhabited 500 years ago and still remains in pretty good state. From there you will board your train to Aguas Calientes and spend the night.

Day 3: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

After an early breakfast we will begin our 1 hour ascent at 4.30 a.m. to Machu Picchu on trekking. You will meet your guide at the entrance to start your 2 hour guided tour and afterwards you will have free time to explore on your own. For those who reserved Huayna Picchu or Montaña in advanced will be brought to the entrance to start an exceptional climb over this Incan marvel. Later in the afternoon, we will board a train from Aguas Calientes at 6.20 p.m. to Ollantaytambo. Remember to be at the station in Aguas Calientes at least 30 minutes in advance. In Ollantaytambo there will be a driver waiting just outside the exit of the station to bring you back to Cusco by bus.

Note:There is possibility to spend one more night in Machu Picchu town paying $30 extra, and return next day(if you want to climbing Huayna picchu or Mountain Machu Picchu, 30.00 USD).

Day 4: End of the tour

You can enjoy breakfast at your hotel before a driver transports you to the airport for your departing flight or bus station as you head to your next destination.
