Paragliding in Main Square of Cusco
How many people can say they've gone paragliding in the Andes? On this Peru trip extension, you'll soar above the Sacred Valley in a tandem harness with a certified pilot. By catching thermals, the warm rising air currents, you'll experience the sensation of free-flight in the Inca heartland. We offer two versions of this exhilarating Peru tour. The trip most people choose normally lasts 15-30 minutes, depending on weather and wind conditions.
For travelers interested in generating extra adrenaline, we offer an even more exciting 45 minute to two hour flight, traveling some 19 miles (30 km) from the Sacred Valley to the outskirts of Cusco, landing at the ancient ruins of the Inca fortress, Sacsayhuaman. Detailed Itinerary
Paragliding in Chinchero
At 6:00 in the morning we go to Chincheros, take instructions, and try incrementally longer jumps, until a jump of some 500 meters of flight. The guide shows you how to control the parapente in the air and do zigzags (slaloms). We will return to Cusco around 2:00 in the afternoon.
