This trip compounds the best of the Lares Valley and the fascinating Inca archeological remains of Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu inka citadel. Our first stop is the colonial town of Lares, there, we can enjoy the hot springs… before begin the day four through the spectacular Urubamba mountain range.

Every day is reasonably paced with enough time to enjoy the wonderful scenery, appreciating the life of the Andean farmers. On the fourth day we reach the legendary Inca town of Ollantaytambo, Next, we will take the short train ride to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary, one of the wonder and most beautiful archeological place.

DAY 1: CUSCO - CUNCANI
we will Departure from Cusco in the morning at 5:00am, in our private transportation through the Sacred Valley, until the Colonial village of Lares, located at 3,100 m.a.s.l (  10,230 Ft.). In this village we will stop and enjoy the hot springs also we are going to visit this colonial and traditional village where we will get lunch… Keep going our trip two more hours; we will arrive in Cuncani a charming village located at   3,600 m.a.s.l. Or 11,880 Ft., in this way mules and llamas will carry all our backpacks, camping site.

DAY 2: CUNCANI - QUISHUARANI
Early in the morning, we will be soon in front of the snow-capped peak, located at (5,700masl. Or 18,810 Ft.) Continuing our trip, we will pass a succession of turquoise lagoons and then continue to the first high pass at Huch’uy Q’asa (4000 m.a.s.l. Or 13,200 Ft.) From this place, we will enjoy the nice views of the valley below us; our trail will take us down to the village of Kishuarani (3700 m.a.s.l. Or 12,210 Ft.), where we will spend the night.

DAY 3: QUISHUARANI - CANCHA CANCHA
Today, we will begin with a short walk to an impressive lagoon, there; we will also pass between many small waterfalls, following an original Inka stone path. As we reach the Pachacuti pass (4500 m.a.s.l. Or 14,850 Ft.), we will have spectacular views of the snow-covered peaks of Pitusiray (5,750masl. Or 18,975 ft) and Chicon (5500 m.a.s.l. Or 18315 Ft.). Down below, we can also see the striking Suyruqocha lagoon, located next to the village of Cancha Cancha (3800 m.a.s.l. Or 12,540 Ft.), where is our last camp site.

DAY 4: CANCHA CANCHA - OLLANTAYTAMBO
this morning after our delicious typical breakfast we will continue descending from the village of Cancha Cancha, passing many local houses and pastoral farmland. As we will head into the warm valley, we will follow the mountain streams through a wide corridor filled with bird life and rocky formations. The trail comes out at Sayhuapata (2800 m.a.s.l. Or 9,240 Ft.), from there our private vehicle will take us to Ollantaytambo, the legendary Inca town. In the afternoon, we will have plenty of time to visit this archeological site… after dinner we will continue by train until Machupicchu Pueblo known as an “Aguas Calientes” where we will spend our last night in hostel  with comfortable accommodations.

DAY 5:  MACHUPICCHU INKA CITADEL – OLLANTAYTAMBO – CUSCO
this day we will wake up like 4:00am to start walking at 4.30 am to the archeological site of Machupicchu... our professional guide will lead you until this inka citadel and show you approximately 2 hours, after that you will have free time to explore by yourself, on the afternoon according the time to come back to Cusco by train …we will down by bus until Machupicchu Pueblo and back by train until Cusco.
