MACHU PICCHU BY TRAIN 2D/1N

The Incas started building it around AD 1430 but was abandoned as an official site for the Inca rulers a hundred years later at the time of the Spanish conquest of the Inca Empire. Although known locally, it was largely unknown to the outside world before being brought to international attention in 1911 by Hiram Bingham, an American historian. Since then, Machu Picchu has become an important tourist attraction.
Machu Picchu was declared a Peruvian Historical Sanctuary in 1981 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. Since it was not plundered by the Spanish when they conquered the Incas, it is especially important as a cultural site and is considered a sacred place.
Machu Picchu was built in the classical Inca style, with polished dry-stone walls. Its primary buildings are the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Room of the Three Windows. These are located in what is known by archaeologists as the Sacred District of Machu Picchu. In September 2007, Peru and Yale University reached an agreement regarding the return of artifacts which Hiram Bingham had removed from Machu Picchu in the early twentieth century.

CHOQUEQUIRAO 4D/3N

Entrancingly off the increasingly trod track, Choquequirao ("Cradle of Gold" in Quechua—"The Other Machu Picchu", as a 2007 article in the New York Times called it) is an amazingly preserved Inca outpost, dramatically perched on a promontory nearly 1800 m / 6000 feet above the roaring Apurimac River Gorge.
Choquequirao (3.103m/10178ft), considered to be a sister city of similar significance to that of Machupicchu and built along similar lines, although harder to reach, was also presumed to have had about the same size and to have served the same religious, political and agricultural functions. However, because archaeologists long underestimated the importance of Choquequirao, the city's existence was known for almost 300 years before the first restoration was begun in 1993 and it has only recently been accessible to nonacademics, since then quickly joining the ranks of the world's great Lost Cities.

AUSANGATE TREK 7D/6N

The chain of Mountains of the Ausangate situated in the Vilcanota is one of the most desolate and fantastic high Andean areas in Peru. The Ausangate is the most representative mountain in the Andes of Cusco. It is part of a strong group of mountains whose tops reach up to 6,372 m.a.s.l. The turquoise lagoons, large fields and stone forests become the area into a moon paradise completely separated from the modern world.
Walking around Ausangate is an fantastic adventure in which it is possible to get amazed in front of such beautiful sunset and eternal snow. You often find needles of rocks going up to more than five thousand meters high and also pieces of ice falling giddily and forming glacial lagoons. We used a track with a part asphalted who is access to this solid, taken the route from Tinki. You need to be in good fitness for this ramble because it could be around seven or twelve days and you suffer heights and temperatures changes too.
